We’ve had a couple of sunny days in Melbourne so I’ve managed to take two nice walks around the northern suburbs this weekend.
Yesterday I took a quiet walk through a cemetery but today my environment was much more lively because I walked by a community footy ground when there was a local Youth Footy match on. (Oak Park FC v Maribyrnong Park FC, fyi.)
My Fujifilm camera isn’t designed for taking high-speed sports photos – and I am certainly not a sports photographer! [1] – but I took a few shots of the action as I walked by and I was generally pleased with the results.

[1] The last time I took photos at a local Youth Footy match I didn’t get any good photos of the action. This was over a year ago though, and it’s good to look back and see how I’ve kept improving as a photographer as I’ve gotten more practice.
