Nadia: Look, look! You can see my red shoesies! We were pretty much ignored once the rasams were over. Maheen, Mahmood and a handful of other people were the only ones to come up and keep us company off and on through the evening.

Ameel: See! We can be serious, too! As you might have noticed, Mahmood and I were dressed identically (except for the shoes, of course!). Note my silver khussas and Nadia's fabulous red ones! Maheen, as usual, looking supremely elegant!
