My Music
Yes, the title is very Windows (My Documents, My Music, My Pictures...). Still, it works. My Own Stuff I used to be in a band called Corduroy, but I left it in 2003. Since then I've been dabbling in music on my own. I'm a drummer, but I come from a musical family so music has always been in my life. Anyway, here's the first song (an instrumental) that I've come up with. Tell me what you think of it at ameel [at] insanityworks.org.

I'm the Commander of Earthbase Melbourne, if you must know :) Performances with Others I have had the good fortune to perform with a number of excellent musicians in both Lahore and Islamabad, some of whom have uploaded (to their own websites) the tracks on which I've played with them. Here are links to a few of those tracks. CityFM 89 Birthday Show When CityFM 89 (a popular radio station in Pakistan) wanted to celebrate one year of operations in Islamabad, they broadcast a live "birthday show" from their studios. In that show I played drums for both Haniya Aslam (of the Zeb and Haniya fame) and Arooj Aftab. Here are a couple of the songs on which I performed: F-10 1/2 Acoustic Project Then, in 2005, a whole bunch of us Islamabad-based musicians got together and performed a couple of concerts at Civil Junction (a local coffee shop that is the hub of live, underground music in Islamabad) under the name F-10 1/2 Acoustic Project (half of us were living in Islamabad's F-10 residential sector while the other half were living in F-11). You can get two of those songs ("Aitebar" and "Seh Na Sakay") from Zeb & Haniya's SoundClick music download page. You have to be a SoundClick member to download these songs, though. I will, however, upload those songs to this site sometime next week. Collaborations A few years ago I collaborated with Sarmad Faraz (lead guitarist for Corduroy) and did some commercial music.
