(Much) More About Me
As a member of numerous social networking sites, message board communities, and other personalized web services, I have had to create many member "profiles" for myself. These profiles paint a quick picture of me but don't, obviously, go into details. That is, they don't tell you what I'm really like.
To get an idea of what I'm really like -- at least indirectly -- you would visit my website (or, at the very least, Google me). Why? Because you learn quite a bit about someone by seeing what he or she has done on/to his or her personal blog and/or website. I, on the other hand, have generally been more direct than that because, on this website, you can find my resume, a (detailed) writeup on what's going on in my life, and my personal and professional blogs. This particular page, then, is another part of that "telling people about me" thing because it tells you about my social-networking side.
This page's intention is to give you an idea of what I'm all about by listing the things that I like and the things that I do. These lists are not meant to be exhaustive and are far from complete. They merely highlight the things that I like and do the most (or the most frequently). Let me know what you think at ameel [at] insanityworks.org.
