About five years into my professional life (in 2004), I decided that, instead of the MS in computer sciences that I always thought I would do, what I really needed to do was an MBA. Why? Mainly because I realized that I needed three things: (1) a graduate degree, (2) more and/or advanced general management skills (strategy, analysis, finance, accounting, operations, HR, etc.), and (3) something to accelerate my professional growth. About a year and half later, I started my MBA at Melbourne Business School (MBS) in Australia.

This section of the site is almost like a blog. In it I hope to write down my thoughts, feelings, opinions, and insights into myself, my professional career, my life, my MBA, the MBA in general, and whatever else seems relevant. I am doing this mostly for myself because writing things down helps me figure out and analyze them better and, frankly, no one other than Nadia really cares about the details of what I want to do with my life! I am also doing this partly for others: those who are thinking of doing an MBA; friends and family members who might be interested in what's going on in my life; and maybe even potential employers who find my site and want to know more about me (I know I would Google all potential applicants if I was in charge of hiring them!).

This section, then, contains a number of journal entries (articles, almost) on various life, career, and MBA-related topics. Here's what I've written so far. I'll add more whenever I need to or want to and whenever I have the time to do so, of course!
