PROLOGUE
We go ballistic at the slightest things
Love's the game I've been a fool to play
We both decided we wouldn't say a thing
But hold on...
'Cause I can't try to make amends
I don't wanna know what you're like
Is this all the thanks I get?
For being yours all my life...
I wish you'd know that I can't smile, if I don't see your face
I wish I was the lullaby that you sang yourself to sleep...
Got I hate you so, I'd rather fake than be wrong again...

Band Comment:
We like to think that Prologue is to Corduroy what Novermber Rain was to Guns 'n Roses! :) Its our only ballad (sic) and was a B-side track till we started playing it at CJ with the congas. A couple of months later we tried it with the drums, and a little later we added the syths...and lo and behold!, this version of Prologue was born. The structure is almost three similar but succesively powerful songs wrapped into one (the song, the first outro, and then the second outro). What do you think?
This song is related to You're Everywhere. Moby explains.
